Fayetteville State University Admissions
Applications to the undergraduate programs are accepted through July 1 for the fall semester. Some programs may have earlier deadlines. There is an application fee of $25. In addition to the application form and fee, students must provide high school high school transcripts, test scores, and completion of the North Carolina competency examination. Students should have taken four units of English, three units of mathematics, three units of sciences, three units of social studies, six units of electives, and two units in one foreign language. As of fall 2006, students will be required to take one additional unit of mathematics. The student should have a 2.0 grade point average or higher. Applications can be submitted on-line.
Graduate students must provide the following for admission to the graduate school: application and fee, transcript, official test scores, and two letters of recommendation. A graduate application has an application fee of $25.
FSU only considers a student for admission who has submitted a completed admissions application and a full high school transcript. FSU requires that applicants complete a minimum number of high school courses in preparation for enrollment in a college setting. Applicants also must provide evidence of a 2.0 or higher high school grade point average, satisfactory SAT or ACT standardized test scores, and compliance with the Fayetteville State University Report of Medical History Form.
